About the Course
This Coal Combustion class addresses many of the main topics
that cause issues for pulverized coal fired boilers. It emphasizes
the importance of proper coal sizing and proper air flows to avoid
issues with efficiency, pollution, and slags. Attendees will be
able to appreciate the importance of mill fineness testing and
why. This class also helps provide actions plant operators can
take to improve operations when burning poor quality coals.
