STEAM TURBINE & GENERATOR

This class will provide attendees with in-depth operational knowledge of steam turbines and generators.

An emphasis will be placed on successful unit start up and shut down practices, supervisory equipment,

and generator fundamentals. Supporting auxiliary equipment will also be explained as part of this

course. Upon completion of this course, operators will better understand the “why” behind turbine and

generator operating practices and recognize the impact of operator actions on equipment life and

performance.
